This fantasy/science fiction film from 1985 is about astronauts from a space mission who make contact with alien life. The aliens seem peaceful enough, but one of them who appears to be a beautiful woman, makes her way back onto Earth and begins sucking the life out of everyone in sight. This movie had that classic older science fiction feel that was heavily based on the way that we perceive space. The plot was interesting and the graphics were fairly well done. I would rate this movie 4/5 stars for being quite entertaining, and would recommend it to those who never get tired of alien movies. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

The most memorable thing about this movie is Mathilda May. The plot is a mix of sci fi comet and vampire invasion. You can say this movie brings life sucking to a new level :)

Lifeforce is a 1985 science fiction horror film directed by Tobe Hooper and written by Dan O'Bannon and Don Jakoby, based on Colin Wilson's 1976 novel, The Space Vampires.

Favourite Movie Quote: "She's totally dangerous!"

Though out of whack and even daffy at times, "Lifeforce" (from 1985) was an insanely wild, over-the-top SyFy tale that owed plenty to "Dawn Of The Dead" and "The Thing".

Sure enough - "Lifeforce" starts off as an outer space saga, then becomes a crazy vampire movie, then turns into an end-of-the-world story.

"Lifeforce" is the sort of movie that's clearly ridiculous to the extreme, but, at the same time, it's so bizarre that it's actually fascinating - Yes. People disintegrate.

The city of London finds itself madly over-run by soul-sucking zombies and the one controlling it all is a gorgeous, naked, space vampiress.

With a promising screenplay written by "Alien's" Dan O'Bannon, "Lifeforce" certainly could've been a whole lot better, but, unfortunately, it suffered considerably under the inconsistent direction of "Texas Chainsaw's" Tobe Hooper.... (*Watch video movie-trailer*)

Better title: "Hot Naked Space Vampire." Moderately entertaining, if fairly cheesy, sci-horror movie from the 80s. Directed by Tobe Hooper ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Poltergeist").

Despite the "downloadable video" category in search results: streaming only (not downloadable).

So it's unlikely to work unless you've highspeed broadband.
