Good Fun. Real nice backstory on Paradise Island (definitely can't spell the real name).
Didn't understand why they set it in WW1 instead of WW2, unless that's a sequel. If so, I gladly am waiting for
Gadot!

this Wonder woman has a wonderful and surprising plot. imaginative and detailed. the plot-driven characters are 3-dimensional. the "bad guys" are a surprise. very enjoyable and the BEST WOMAN WINS!

Kind of surprised that the whole story is not about present days. I was expecting to watch something like SpiderMan. The actor is very pretty which makes the movie very pleasant to watch as well.

Good backstory for Wonder Woman. Good movie. The only problem i have is i dont think they pick a good fit for the villain.

This is a good movie and worth watching. One of DC's best in a long time. It is plot driven and gives the character the proper growth needed. The downfall of DC/WB, as with all of their movies, is the poor use of CGI. DC's characters need CGI and need it to be used properly, especially when the slightest of details can become a game changer. Because of this, the main villain appears less of a threat or terrifying.

Good but not as good as the reviews led me to believe.

Very fun and I thought Gal G was excellent (as was Chris Pine). A bit too long and cumbersome plot wise, but the fight scenes were great. Nice to see a woman super hero kick butt!!

Wonder Woman ably combines the fish-out-of-water elements of Thor with the wartime setting of Captain America. The film moves along briskly enough to conceal the lack of genuine surprises, with the action scenes remarkably fast-paced and kinetic, although also annoyingly vague about the heroine's actual powers and abilities. This last becomes a problem when Diana suddenly develops a previously unsuspected level of power during the climactic battle with the inevitable CGI villain. It is during this battle that the film tries to be something more than just another superhero movie, but the juvenile opposition of faith and truth only results in a tangled muddle, especially when the characters seem to better represent justice and mercy. In another missed opportunity, the decision to set the film in WWI rather than WWII changes remarkably little - the Germans are every bit as much the villains - except during the climax when it is suggested that even the villains are redeemable, something the filmmakers would probably not have been willing to do if the film was set in the later war. Still, a perfectly serviceable action movie, with higher ambitions that are laudable even if sadly unfulfilled.

Very interesting retelling of the Wonder Woman story. Set in WWI, so clearly there are plans for a franchise. A bit too much slow-motion and too much CGI for me, but probably not enough for teens. It is a good story, fast paced, and artistically done.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Dr. Poison is rather creepy, what with her burned, scarred mouth. Villains, death of innocents, and World War I theme.
