I am more than slightly disappointed with this album, partly because of the lack of variety in lyrics. For instance,in the song infinite content they only use eleven words. But nevertheless, Arcade fire is still Arcade fire, and this album I believe is just a slight back drop which will pave the way for the future.
This one falls somewhere between The Suburbs (phenomenal) and Reflektor (good). Some of the lyrics are a little cliché - ideas and even phrases we have heard from them before - but there are a few fresh songs: "Electric Blue" and "Put Your Money on Me". I love how the album starts and ends with Everything Now, so that it plays as one big piece, which starts over without you noticing.
