This film does a pretty good job of resetting perceptions of people and making lowered expectations really not so bad. Moments of humour and sadness are interspersed and it isn't terrible but it is unlikely to become a favourite.

I really enjoyed this movie and highly recommend it. There were many surprises that made this movie unique for the genre. Great character development that reached various demographics. I felt drawn into the story and it left me thinking for a few days after. When I saw the trailer I thought how can you make a movie out of a wedding table. Very well done. I was reminded of the Breakfast Club of my teen years.

There is nothing funny in this movie.

Have you ever seen Anna Kendrick, Lisa Kudrow, Craig Robinson, Stephen Merchant and Wyatt Russell in anything before? Well they are playing the same character but at a wedding in this movie.

I enjoyed this movie. I guess I am corny and quirky.

Cool movie. Well drawn characters. Light, intelligent and fun. Quirky romantic comedy that made me laugh out loud.

A disappointing romantic comedy on fringe characters who were undesirable guests attending a wedding. Instead of feeling for them and wished them better luck at the start, outside of the nanny, the script is nothing but of blank visages mouthing foolish lines in awkward skits. (And thank goodness they cut short the extended karaoke singing scenes in "Deleted Scenes" in Bonus features.)

Whooo boy, was I expecting more. This is HORRIBLE. Very contrived and badly acted.

This could have been better, but it's not terrible. The cast is good. The plot is pretty original. It has some nice moments, and I enjoyed the '80s music played by the wedding band. Table 19 is rated PG-13 for thematic elements, sexual content, drug use, language and some brief nudity.

Pretty lame for the most part, save for a scattered brilliant line delivered here and there.

You know it is a stinker when there are only two quotes at IMDb for a film with notable actors. These on the nanny are not in IMDb yet:

Hollywood marriages bust up all the time because of the nanny.
===
Never doubt a nanny's intuition.
===
What kind of nanny are you?
-Retired.
