I thought this book was just OK. It was pretty much a "color by numbers" assassin fantasy. The plot was predictable and the characters were stock and two-dimensional. If you want a book that will fill the time all the way from the beginning to the end, here is one. It's pretty much medieval ninja wish-fulfullment by rote. Nothing imaginative or novel.
