Very slow and pretty dull show mixed with ultra violence. Be prepared to fast forward a lot especially towards the end which loses interest. Kind of recommended.

A masterpiece - every bit as good as the first season if not better.

I agree with the poster, 'this was so slow...' I could not even bring myself to watch the 4th disc, just like, "Nope, can't even waste another minute on this". Tough even to follow the story. This was the victim of a bad script, although I liked all the actors, just bad story line and VERY slow.

The bad/mob guy goes to get his son with a posse of 20 gunmen and a drunk lawyer talks the bad guy out of it... Ug.

This is an amazing show with twists and turns giving us the unexpected. These guys always have excellent stories to tell. It was basically a family business vs a gang from Kansas City with a butcher and his wife caught up in the middle of it all. This season had an all star cast, the actors did a excellent job with their roles, and also this season was one of the best season of Fargo that I've ever watched. However the difference between Seasons 1 and Season 2 was the first season took place in Minnesota while the second season took place in both Luverne, and Sioux Falls Minnesota, plus it also took place in South Dakota all at the same time. I liked how they also added a lot of multi-cultural characters to the show this season making this show one of the best mini series to watch on TV hats off to the writers, creators, producers, and directors for making an excellent show which is based on a true story.

Absolutely amazing! I think I even liked this storyline better than the first season. I just loved Hanzee and Milligan. I think Breaking Bad and Fargo are my two favourite series in recent years on television. I quickly grew tired of Kirsten Dunst's character, however.

a big letdown from the first series....much slower, and a gangland style movie where the investigators dont get the screen time needed. Patrick Wilson is a very underated actor, reminds me of Craig T Nelson. perhaps I expected too much but this was not even close to the first series.

Another season, another state, a new set of criminals. Everything about this series is fabulous. FIVE STARS!

An amazing story with great cinematography and terrific acting. The drama builds and builds. Dumb decisions? Of course, that's part of the charm. I became a little tired of Kirsten Dunst's character. But then again, it's Fargo. You will have to have a high tolerance for graphic violence to enjoy the season. Watch the specials in the DVDs, especially the last one.

Despite generally excellent performances, this season suffers from the same problems as the first: a plot that continues to move forward almost solely because of really, really dumb decisions.

Wonderfully well developed characters each with their own unique quirks. It's dark but definitely humorous as well. I loved it!
