The blouse with the interwoven design is very pretty, so is the Bamboo shoot. Some design are very "artsy" but they are interesting.

hmmm. As a pattern drafter I can say this was interesting but not for any of my clients. These items would be one of a kind, for most. The Japanese are amazing when it comes to designing unusual artsy items and this book is a good example. It was a jumping point for some designs I've been working on. If you like to think outside the box or challenge your drafting abilities then this is for you. Have a look, it's different than the "normal" of the shelf stuff we find in North America.

Excellent if you're young and very petite. Adult women, especially those with curves, will not find this book terribly useful.

Very few of the ideas look comfortable to wear, and the rest would be impossible to iron. Fun to read, though.
