I am not happy to say this sucked big time. The main character, like most of the characters, is self-centered and boring. The woman who barked orders to the other mothers: the worst stereotypical shrew. No one stood up to her? The main character bringing a total stranger into her home? REALLY? In LA? In Silver Lake? IF this were supposed to be funny... I know too many ppl like these characters. Not funny, but depressing as they come.

I really enjoy this movie.

I don't think this movie was meant as a comedy, just that the main character has a quick-wit. I did enjoy watching this as I wanted to see what would happen with McKenna in the end - and in the end she pretty much did what I thought was going to happen with someone else and not Rachel's husband - which is what I thought was going to happen. And no open eyed is slightly creepy.

Uhm...this was not funny, it was depressing. And the main character is a horrible person. They did a great job telling the story - the actors are all wonderful, but this was not enjoyable to watch at all.

pretty funny overall, but there is a serious story inside of the funny. Kathryn Hahn is great and I give it 4 stars for her alone, I didn't think that everything that happened was her fault, sometimes marriages go stale because you don't communicate your feelings enough, goes both ways.
