Add a SummaryTHE STORY TALKS BOUT THE LIVES OF CHIPMUNKS AND HOW THEY GO TO HIGH SCHOOL AND MEET NEW FRIENDS..BUT SOME CAN BE MEAN...EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE CHIPMUNKS......THEY HAVE A ROCKIN ADVENTURE AND COOL SONGS
A struggling songwriter named Dave Seville finds success when he comes across a trio of singing chipmunks: mischievous leader Alvin, brainy Simon, and chubby, impressionable Theodore.
Alvin, Simon, and Theodore meet their musical match after returning to school and entering into a battle of the bands competition in hopes of saving the school's troubled music program. Sent to live with Dave Seville's younger nephew Toby, the three lovable marmots decide that getting an education is more important than belting out pop tunes. But the school's music program is about to go belly up, and the only way to save it is to win the 25,000-dollar prize in the upcoming battle of the bands. Though the Chipmunks are confident they have the songwriting skills to steamroll the competition, a newly formed singing trio dubbed the Chippettes promises to give them some stiff competition on-stage. Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette are indeed the real deal, and the closer the competition gets, the more Alvin, Simon, and Theodore realize that in order to win, they'll have to give it everything they've got.
Alvin, Simon, and Theodore are back in director TimHill's computer-animation/live-action hybrid following the further adventures of the world's most adorable singing trio. Songwriter Dave Seville has been struggling to gain recognition in the music industry for some time, and despite the fact that his former college roommate is now a high-profile powerbroker at Jett Records, Dave still can't manage to get a break. Things soon start to look up, however, when Dave discovers three singing chipmunks hiding out in the branches of a Christmas tree in Jett Records' world headquarters. Realizing that these woodland crooners cold prove to be his ticket to the big time, Dave does his best to transform Alvin, Simon, and Theodore into the next great pop sensation. As adorable and talented as they may be, though, these bouncy little critters aren't quite domesticated just yet; they still have a wild streak in them a mile wide, and it isn't long before Dave's life, home, and career are in utter chaos. But staying mad at such lovable little creatures is next to impossible, no matter what kind of mischief they might get into.

I like it
When I ordered all 3 I got the 2nd one first, then the 3rd one second, and the 1st one last. :/ But it was still enjoyable to watch, since I remember the show as a kid when growing up. The only thing I didn't like as the movie progressed was all the R&B Songs they were doing/taking. How about some gospel, huh? Any who, 3/5 stars.
well now hold up it looks like our furry little compadres here have some new competition to keep an eye out for mainly one word the chipettes there cute sing great and hold on to your seats are girls gasp. I won't say more but you'll just have to watch it for yourselves it's an all around fun and crazy film second time around. :)
funny hilarious magnificent wonderful this movie was just totally differebt an unexpected i never knew that chipmunks had so much talent and groove in them until this film. great for all to see even kids.
Though I wasn't able to see the first one, I have to say, this was better than what I thought. The plot was predictable, but just to see something so old on the big screen or DVD in this case that I used to watch as a child made me happy. 3/5 Stars for me!
