This is the best Kurt Wallander mystery that I've read so far. This is the third book in the series by Henning Mankell. Masterpiece Mystery has made some of these mysteries into TV dramas. This particular book was very, very suspenseful. The main character, the Swedish detective, Kurt Wallander, is in constant danger in this story. The setting is in Latvia, after the fall of the Berlin Wall. I enjoyed it very much.
