Add a CommentAlthough the film struggles with pacing issues and made the mistake of completely miscasting John Connor, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" is a fantastic sequal that improves upon it's predecessor in almost every way. Excellent story, amazing action sequences and surprisingly emotional, this is without a doubt one of the best action movies ever made.
This Movie Is Awful!! It Destroys everything that makes the original so great. The first film is dark and eerie, this is just played for laughs.
Still an astonishing achievement twenty years on, one of those rare sequels that not only matches but outdoes the first film. Terminator 2 changes the game somewhat by having a reprogrammed cyborg, the villain of the first film, as the protector. Linda Hamilton is fierce as a driven Sarah Conner, Schwarzenegger does all that the role require of him, inhabiting the cybernetic protector well, and Robert Patrick is well cast as the new terminator, with relatively few lines, but with so much menace to him. The CGI still holds up well after all these years, and the film has become a classic.
What!!! What do you mean " dull to watch"?!?! This movie was just down right AWESOME!!!!! Trust me ,if you liked the first one, you'll
love this one.
This 1991 Sci-Fi/Action flick wasn't as good as I remember it. I certainly can't argue with the astounding visual effects, but Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong as "the saviours of the world" mother and son team were a major let-down to the point of being downright annoying, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as the "good" terminator looked totally bored and apathetic in his role. (In the year 2029, do you suppose that it was standard procedure to build cyborgs who spoke English with heavy Austrian accents?.... After all this film's story was taking place in the USA.)
Very well done movie I would recommend this movie for all to see. No fast forwarding on this one. A++ DVD
Kind of disappointing - dull to watch
Give me your clothes, your shoes, AND WARM UP YOUR HOMETHEATER!! The first time i saw this movie in the theater i was blown away by the special effect of the T-1000. This terminator model is far more advanced and has serious capabilities. I currently own "THE ULTIMATE EDITION" which i feel is the best version for your collection. This version also has the best "Easter Egg" of all my films. It contains deleted scenes which can be put back into the film and run seemlessly. Also, there an alternate ending which is cool. However!! I'm a sound freak. And this movie has excellent sound and fantastic visuals for your entertainment. My two favorites scenes is when the T-1000 is chasing our heroes on a highway at night. The whole scene has great sound and visual effects. The other scene is when Sara is having a dream and a bomb explodes. The sound of the heat wave destroying everything in it's path is very cool. The explosion will have your subwoofers send serious bass waves across your floor. I really liked this movie and enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. I give this fantastic movie 5 stars!!! For amazing visual effects, sound effects, story, action, and The T-1000. Pork chops with mashed potatoes, rice, carrots, rolls, and fresh juice.
This is actually my most favorite Terminator film, although is is quite sad at the end.
Well done james Camereon.... well done.
