I Greatly enjoy great Cop movies, this one was exciting and it was cool to see how the Metropolitan Police of London work and protect the people there its better than the constant barrage of American Police films where the story is about bad or corrupt police this was refreshing.
Not Jason Statham's most entertaining film, but an OK watch. Something missing here. Villian not as threatening as needed. You always know Statham's character can & will kick his butt. Plot was okay, but the ending has been done before and done better.
Just not enough action to keep me interested. One of his weaker performances
Decent plot and fast paced murder-thriller with engaging good, bad and in between characters.
Decent formulaic, action movie. This is a British flick, so be prepared to wade through some idiomatic phrases and colloquialisms. Jason Stratham is a major mumbler in most of his movies. Between his British accent and his persona of being too cool to enunciate clearly, my husband and I had to resort to watching this with the subtitles on, to get every last line of dialogue. I know another reviewer called the ending ironic and unsatisfying, but I disagree. Not sure what s/he found ironic about the ending, but it could indeed be found to be "unsatisfying", since, the ending is politically incorrect to our North American standards. I, however, would describe it as a satisfying non-Hollywood ending. This one's restricted due to its violence.
There is good chemistry among the main actors. The plot could be better.
very good
ok
Average cop vs cop-killer movie. Has some elements of a buddy cop movie as well. Nothing really stood out to me in this one. A few scenes of decent violence. You know from jumpstreet who the killer is. Satisfying revenge ending. Just never really got me caring all that much. Not a waste of time, but so many better cop movies out there.
