This is one of my FAVORITE SERIES OF ALL TIME. Smart, never too violent, relationships grow and characters and situations grow more complicated and more clever. Over all - just a lot of well spent hours with this show and a friend who needed a diversion from an uncomfortable time.

Love this DVD series! Great writing, acting & locations. Hope the other seasons are on order. I will check this tv series out more than once. Every time I watch an episode, I can’t wait to see the next one. Sad that they ended at 6 seasons.

I experienced some trouble with playback on the first disc on the copy that I checked out.

This is one of my all time favorite TV shows. Great characters and cast, witty dialogue, set in NYC - such a great show.

I don't see what's the big fuss is all about.

Mediocre series that pales in comparison to others like Prison Break and Person of Interest. The humor is overdone, most characters are utter cliches, the exceptions being Willie Gerson and James Rebhorn. Uninspired score and pretentious directing. This good story deserves better treatment. Not worth seeing Series 2.

White collar is a good show. It is often predictable with what will happen next but I still enjoy it. If you enjoy this series, a really GREAT series to watch is Burn Notice.

In the first season of White Collar Neal Caffrey, a convicted con man, escapes from prison to find his girlfriend who apparently wants to end their relationship. Neal is recaptured by FBI Agent Peter Burke who originally brought Neal to justice. The pair eventually make a deal to work together to solve crimes for the White Collar Division of the FBI. Neal meets a wealthy widow who lets Neal stay at her plush NYC apartment and wear her husband's stylish clothes. During the FBI investigations Neal also works with one old friend to try and find his girlfriend. Along the way Neal manages to upset some old friends as well as some old enemies.

Rather pedestrian cop-buddy show. The main reason to watch this series is to oogle the gorgeous Matt Bomer. The camera loves to linger on his startling image, and chances are so will you. [P.S. Diahnne Caroll broke new ground by being the first black woman to have her own TV series, "Julia," playing a single working mom. Also, before there was a Halle Berry or a Beyonce, Diahnne Carroll was the reigning black beauty of show business. This reputation helped in her other big gig, "Dynasty," which was watched by a lot of people. Now, you know.]

Neal Caffrey: Did you really put Elizabeth under surveillance before you asked her out? Peter, I underestimated you.
Peter Burke: You told him?
Elizabeth Burke: Oh, he said he wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing anybody else. Honey, it's cute.
Neal Caffrey: I think it's adorable.
Peter Burke: I'm putting you back in prison.

Peter Burke: You are way out of your league.
Neal Caffrey: Ah, harmless flirting. It's like a dance.
Peter Burke: Naa, there is no dance. You're not even on her dance card. No dancing for you.
Neal Caffrey: Umm, she digs the hat.
Peter Burke: Mmm, she'd rather be wearing the hat.
