Just as depressing as the first but for some reason I find this series very engaging. Alex is an amazing hero and the bond developed with his least favorite sister, Julie, becomes endearing.

pretty good story line. Kept you hooked to see what will come. Actually listened to this book last. In the 3rd book Miranda meets Alex, kind of nice to meet him first and then hear his story in New York.

The only anoyance is the Author's over use of the word 'said', he said, she said, matt said etc.......
