This starts out a bit slowly - I don't think we need to be given dossier files on characters to read, it's lazy story telling. But it certainly picks up, if not into the modern movie James Bond, then into a somewhat more realistic character. It's clear this is Fleming starting out, there certainly are visible rough edges, but over all an enjoyable and at times impactful story.
