In my opinion the worst mission impossible movie. The only reason to watch it is because of the sequel. (The sequel is way better)

The strong point of this movie was that Maggie Q was in it!

It’s time to fasten your seatbelts as Captain Scientology speeds around the globe blowing things up from Rome to Shanghai in his relentless pursuit of the nefarious Mr. Davian. Will he be able to save both the world AND the girl in time for the final credits? Will Davian recover from his unfortunate fender bender? Is this the final installment of the MI series? Tom Cruise is in fine manic form as super agent Ethan Hunt but, unfortunately, Philip Seymour Hoffman is just too damn huggable to be taken seriously and his evil arch-villain comes across as a grumpy lil’ Easter bunny instead. Still, MI-3 provides a rollicking good two hours worth of high-tech tomfoolery and I wouldn’t have changed a minute of it.

The real impossible mission seems to make a genuinely good film in this series. I mean, they're always pretty good, but also pretty silly. Tom Cruise is hard to take seriously these days, right? This third installment was directed by J.J. Abrams, is the most Bond-like of the series and has a fine supporting cast, including Ving Rhames, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Monaghan, Billy Crudup and Phillip Seymor Hoffman as the bad guy. Hoffman often played conflicted, flawed character, but rarely an out right evil one, which he does here and I wish he were in it more (R.I.P.). Trivia question: What other movie were Cruise and Hoffman in together?

This is a 2006 American action spy film---the third installment of the Mission Impossible film series.
Although actions are fast-paced, it is impossible to think that those actions are feasible in the real world.
Sometimes, I really thought, "Oh, Jeez, this is ridiculously unbelievable!"
There are a few twists and turns beyond rational.
These twists and turns are for the sake of gratuitous twists and turns in order to surprise the audience.
It is far from a good sense of reasonable scenario-writing.
In any case, it is worth watching simply because it would give you a lot of thrill and excitement, though the story gets profoundly ridiculous.

Google "Tom Crooze" for a laugh with Ben Stiller.

Good Morning Agent Hunt. Your mission, if you decide to except it, is to get HOMETHEATER SYSTEMS!!! This movie has all around great sound for your audio pleasure. Explosions, helicopters, drones, rockets, and machine guns all sound very good in this movie. The action is hard hitting and fast, and the bad guy is just plain evil!!! My favorite scenes for sound is the Jet drone shooting at the agents on a bridge while the bad guy makes an escape. Awesome!!! I also enjoyed the helicopter chase. Very cool!! I give this movie 4 stars. Very good sound and very good acton. Philly cheese steak, fries, and cream soda.

It was O.K for a home movie. I was entertained. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the
price to rent from a Red Box.

After seeing this a second time, this is an o.k. movie. Worth seeing at least one time
