Add NoticesFrightening or Intense Scenes: Most of the movie is pretty intense, and there are death eaters burning and destroying everything in the beginning. Three people die, we witness (in the movie) the deaths of two of them. Definitely for 13 and older or a mature 12 yr. I would recommend watching this with a friend/ older family member

Comment
Add a CommentI am forever cranky that the movie decided to unnecessarily gender the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons schools.
While the movie leaves much of the details present in the novel that allow for a deeper level of comprehension of what is taking place and why it is taking place. The actors turn in a good performance but the movie ends up being largely forgettable.
It is a really good movie, isn't it?
I took issue with this movie leaving out a lot when I was younger, but honestly, it's not that bad.
Great movie!!! Really exciting!!!!!
Harry Potter For life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was probably my favorite Harry Potter movie that I have watched so far. It does take out a lot of things from the book, but it is still a good story line.
The movie is really good. But coming from a huge Harry Potter fan, it does leave out a lot. Definitely rated PG-13. A little frightening, but something you can get over. Fun to watch with a friend! Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe are amazing as ever. We finally get to met Voldemort in this movie/ book played by Ralph Fiennes. Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman are amazing as ever.
I loved this book.
