So much of our personality and behavior is shaped by how and with whom we grew up. This becomes very clear as the backgrounds of a grandmother, mother and daughter are explored.
Their history explains a lot of why they act like they do.

It's a touching novel. I would give it 5 stars, but like many novels, I found myself fairly engrossed in a fascinating story that quickly turned and wrapped up its ending.

Quilts and quilting bring three generations of family closer together after years of bitter strife.
Superb!
